Ebony Harlem is an annual event that honors and recognizes the contributions of undergraduate and graduate students on campus who are connected to the AACC. We also honor the contributions, work, and mentorship of staff and faculty who support our students each year; celebrate our graduates.

This year’s theme is Masquerade, so come dressed to impress and celebrate an evening of celebration, recognition, and community spirit.

Voting on Awards

Celebrate the excellence, leadership and impact within the Wolfpack community by casting your vote in this year’s Ebony Harlem Awards. These awards recognize outstanding individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, talent, humanitarian service, and community involvement.

Nomination for Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Students

The Ebony Harlem Awards is an annual celebration recognizing the achievements and impact of individuals within the NC State community on and off campus. This nomination process highlights contributions that foster community, mentorship, and cultural engagement among students, faculty, and staff. Ebony Harlem Award Selection Process

Undergraduate students awards will be available for voting in Spring 2026. Graduate student, faculty, and staff awards will be determined by a committee. 

Graduating Seniors

We recognize our graduating students at every Ebony Harlem Awards Ceremony! If you are a graduating senior and would like to be recognized at the Ebony Harlem Awards Ceremony, make sure you indicate on the registration form.
