EQUIP supports first-year students at NC State in cultivating self-awareness, community and resilience through AACC signature events, embedded counseling, wellness activities and proactive campus resource engagement.
.
Students will have the opportunity to learn from Dr. Andaiye Qaasim through conversations and activities focused on leadership, self-awareness, navigating college, and building meaningful connections.
.
CeErra Davis, AACC’s Embedded Counselor, will be involved throughout the EQUIP experience, providing first-year-focused support and a space for students to talk through the academic, social, and personal parts of adjusting to college, while also helping students connect with campus resources.

Throughout the month of July, The AACC Library displayed a selection of our books about disability in celebration of Disability Pride Month!
Besides books and staff training, we also have amenities to help make the library accessible to everyone! From a height adjustable table, fidget toys, technology, snacks, and more we’re continually updating how we serve everyone in the NC State University community! 📚✨
