Umoja
“Sticks in a bundle are unbreakable.”
~ African Proverb
Umoja is a Kwanzaa principle that centers on unity. Within the context of this relationship-based program, our goal is to unify student organizations with similar goals.
- Encouraging collaboration, not duplication for programming
- Contributing to the direction and progression of student success work
- Creating spaces of opportunity to invite new students into a vibrant community
- Fostering a culture of assessment that transforms student experience
- Co-creation of leadership and professional development spaces
Umoja is excited to invite registered student organizations to participate in the 2026–2027 academic year!
Participation in Umoja is open to all registered student organizations. Please note that organizations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis, as space is limited and we will only be accepting a select number of organizations.
